CanSkate/Pre-CanSkate Refund Policy
- If you have registered for a Pre-CanSkate/CanSkate program and you choose to cancel your registration before the start of class, you will receive a refund of fees less a $25 administrative fee and less the Skate Canada fees $50.
- For skaters registered in CanSkate, no refund will be offered once the second class has commenced.
- For skaters registered in Pre-CanSkate, no refund will be offered after the fifth class has commenced.
- If the skater is not able to continue lessons for a medical reason, a doctor’s certificate must accompany the request. Refunds will be issued for the cost of the remaining classes less the Skate Canada fees.
- No refunds or make up sessions will be offered for missed sessions.
- NOTE: The Crowfoot Skating Club reserves the right to cancel a skater's registration in the CanSkate or Pre-CanSkate programs. In the event the Crowfoot Skating Club cancels a skaters registration, the cost of the remaining classes less the Skate Canada fees will be refunded.
CanSkate/Pre-CanSkate Private Lesson Refund Policy
- No refunds or make up sessions will be offered for missed scheduled private lessons.
- Changes to scheduled lessons must be notified with 48 hour notice prior to the lesson time and a $10 charge will be admitted for lesson changes
- No extra time will be give to private lesson if you show up late to the lesson
Refund Policy Junior Development
- If you have registered for a Junior Development program and you choose to cancel your registration before the start of class, you will receive a refund of fees less a $25 administrative fee and less the Skate Canada fees $50.
- No refund will be offered after the first class has commenced.
- If the skater is not able to continue lessons for a medical reason, a doctor’s certificate must accompany the request. In this case, the remaining cost of the classes less the Skate Canada fees will be refunded.
- No refunds or make up sessions will be offered for missed sessions.
September to April Refund Policy STARSkate
- If a STARSkate skater wishes to withdraw please send a written request to the STARSkate Registrar.
- A refund will be given to skaters who withdraw by September 1st of the season, less the Skate Canada fees, and less the Calalta Club fees.
- A refund will be given to skaters who withdraw between September 1st and December 31st of the season, less Skate Canada fees, less the Calalta Club fees, less an 25$ admin fee, and less any ice time already skated.
- No changes to session or refunds after January 1st of the season.
- If the skater is not able to continue lessons for a medical reason, a doctor’s certificate must accompany the request for withdrawal. A refund will be given less Skate Canada fees, less the Calalta Club Fees, and less ice time already skated.
- No refunds will be given if a skater is expelled by the Club.
- No refunds or make up sessions will be offered for sessions missed due to illness, holidays, competitions, tests, management disputes or any reason other than an injury or medical condition supported by a doctor’s certificate.
May - June Refund Policy STARSkate

- No refunds will be given if a skater is expelled by the Club.
